FG gives ASUU one week ultimatum

After series of appeal and negotiation with ASUU, it federal government seems to have lost its cool as it ordered the defiant union to call off the strike within one week or face the consequences.
The ultimatum was issued by the supervisory minister of education, Nyesom Wike, at a press conference in Abuja. Internal ramblings have split the union as some factions believe thwarted strike should be called off. Pro chancellors have called for the reopening of the universities and some of the institutions have already started asking students to resume.
However, some students are of the opinion that the strike should be Caledonia off next year and have decried the selfish attitude of the selfish lecturers who wants to collect Christmas salaries before they resume.
