Lagos State University (LASU) Students Goes On Rampage, Disrupting Second Semester Examination.

The protest kicked off yesterday when the university’s
registration portal was closed. Over 2000 students were
yet to register for their second semester courses as
exams were to begin today.

It was gather that, banks were still
collecting the increased tuition fee from students while
this disruption was going on.
Sadly, the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Professor
John Obafunma was stoned in the process, an act
which we believe was a step too far.
We also gather that the said protest was originally
designed to be a peaceful protest but for some reasons
the situation went out of control.

The school is currently closed, indefinately.
