Lagos State University (LASU) Students Goes On Rampage, Disrupting Second Semester Examination.


The protest kicked off yesterday when the university’s
registration portal was closed. Over 2000 students were
yet to register for their second semester courses as
exams were to begin today.

Two Students Seriously Injured As University Of Abuja Girls Hostel Got Burnt Yesterday



2 students were injured in a fire which occurred at the
female hostel of the University of Abuja on Sunday.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) learnt that the fire
was caused by a gas cooker which exploded. A security
officer, Mrs Fatima Salawo, who said that she was the
supervisor on duty, told NAN that the incident took
place around 8.25 a.m.

UNIJOS moves to avert another ASUU strike

The management of University of Jos on Monday
took steps to avert another strike by the local
chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Universities
(ASUU).
The University inaugurated a committee to urgently
address errors in the payment of the earned
allowances of the members of the academic staff of
the university as lecturers vowed to stay away from
work.

A Part Time Student Of Ibadan Polytechnic Commits Suicide


A part-time student of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Oyo
State, Timilehin Ayobami Ogundare has been found
dead in his room at Ilupeju area, Baasala, Asero,
Abeokuta, Ogun State in western Nigeria.
He was believed to have committed suicide by hanging
himself. P.M.NEWS also gathered that the deceased
was a computer operator with a firm, Blueprint Music
Studio in Abeokuta, before his death.

WAEC Exam Cheaters Return Certificates After Encounter With Christ
