HORRIBLE: Student, 23, sentenced to death for hanging 2 prostitutes and having sex with their corpses



A 23-year-old university student in China will be
executed after hanging two prostitutes and having
sex with their corpses.
The student, whose surname is Lee, was studying
design at Jilin University in Changchun and told
police that he had been failing a lot of classes and
called the prostitutes to help relieve the pressure.

University, Igbesa in Ogun has shared his
victory. Oluwatimilehin ‘Dipo Sotubo, 21,
finished with an astounding 4.91 Cumulative
Grade Point Average (CGPA), the highest in
the school, and he tells of the trials that
pushed him to succeed.
He said :
“I was not always a brilliant student, ” I failed
my WASSCE and passed the second time. I was
an average student. I just told myself that it
was time I sat up and become the best so I
dedicated all my time to reading to be the best;
that was how I made it.

Final date for payment of damage fee


The final date for the payment of the surcharge levy is set for the 3rd of january.

The paper says a competent source to the Vice
Chancellor of the institution said “the outcome
was part of the resolution adopted by the
institution highest body yesterday during a
marathon meeting at the senate chamber of the
school”.

2014 MTN FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION: Official website and procedures for application


Applicants from public universities and colleges of education in Nigeria must be full time undergraduate in 200level/2nd year. Applicants from public universities and colleges of education must have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 or its equivalent (2:1). Applicants from public polytechnics must have minimum grade point average of 3.0 from the ordinary diplomat programme and must have secured admission into the higher national diplomat programme.

ASUU finally calls off 5 months old strike!!


Reports from Minna, Niger state capital, indicates that the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has called off its five months old strike. The union arrived at its latest decision to suspend its strike after a marathon meeting held at the federal university of technology Minna, Niger state on Monday.

ASUU strike latest update- Monday ultimatum: ASUU to dare FG again. vow to continue strike


It was uncertain on Saturday whether the academic staff union of Nigerian universities would call off its five months old strike, despite the federal government Monday ultimatum. There were speculations that the university lecturers will call off the strike after the burial ceremony of an ex-ASUU president, professor Festus Iyayi, who was killed in a motor accident involving the Kogi state governor convoy.

A bride narrowly escaped death in an auto crash while on her Ayim from her wedding. The accident involving NNPC tanker with number plate XG 321 MKA, a cargo truck and two saloon cars happened at about 4:45pm on Saturday close to the Otedola bridge, Alausa, on Lagos/Ibadan expressway.

Fast and Furious actor, Paul Walker, dies in auto crash


US actor, Paul walker, popularly known for his role in the Fast and Furious film series is dead.
40-year-old Walker died in the early hours of sunday, 1 December, after a Porsche sports car in which he was a passenger crashed in California. Walker was said to be attending a charity event at the time of the crash and died on the spot alongside his friend, who was driving.
